What a crazy time! My husband and I having been trying to self isolate to to help with the minimizing of Covid-19. With the canceling of our weekly agendas my evenings and weekends have been freed up and I am trying to fill them with diys and cooking to keep sane!
Just before the Corona outbreak really started in North America, I went to see Little Women. If you haven’t seen it, you should definitely rent it (such a steller cast)! I also loved that a couple days after seeing it I was having lunch with my grandparents and my granny reminiced about reading Little Women when she was a young girl.
With all this, I was reminded of Louisa May Alcott’s quote “I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.” I thought it was so appropriate for this time! Whether it is this Covid-19 storm or another storm you might be going through, I trust that we will learn and grow and be better prepared for future challenges.
I decided to make this a fun coloring page that you can do with your children or just by yourself. Coloring is such a good, almost meditative activity. There’s zero pressure to make “art”. And how cute would this be framed in a little girls room? Or above your office desk?
Click the links below to download. One is in black and one pinky-coral if you have a color printer. I printed the coral on watercolor paper and used both watercolor pencils, watercolor paints, and aryclic paints on it. Get creative and have fun! Most of all, stay healthy and safe!

Thanks Laura for these beautiful Pinecone SVG files. I am just starting to decorate for fall & was planning to make a garland of Maple leaves out of felt. I believe your pinecones will be the perfect side addition to it. You have the best ideas & I truly appreciate you!
