Step 1: Cutting the Design

Begin by downloading the the free SVG design from the Gilded Stork library here. Upload to Cricut Design Space and use your Cricut machine to cut out the components of your Christmas tree card.

Step 2: Creating the Woven Basket Tree Stand

Craft the woven basket tree stand by interweaving the loose horizontal strands into the vertical lines.

Step 3: Assembling the Tree

Attach the tree just above the window opening on the front card base. To enhance the visual appeal and create a 3D effect, use double-sided foam tape to add dimension to the tree branches.

Step 4: Stringing Seed Beads

Bring some sparkle to your Christmas tree by stringing seed beads across the front. Use a needle and thread, and secure the thread with tape on the back of the front card. Opt for white seed beads to mimic the appearance of a classic popcorn garland.

Step 5: Attaching the Woven Basket

Adhere the woven basket to the front of the card base, ensuring it sits neatly behind the window created in the front. Use your favourite adhesive, such as double-sided adhesive sheet scraps as I did, to secure the back of the front card.

Step 6: Finishing Touches

Position the front card onto the base, creating a seamless look. Add the stars to the top of the tree using foam tape to provide an extra dimension to your festive card.

Craft this heartfelt Cricut Christmas tree card for your loved ones.
