Every time I see a butterfly flutter past me I can’t help but be in awe by how magical they are! While designing these butterflies, I noticed the uniqueness of each one’s wings. Truly they are breathtaking creatures! I designed these free butterfly SVGs for Cricut in hopes that they put a little bit of awe in those who see them!

How to Make Butterfly Note Cards with your Cricut
Pop one of these delicate handmade butterfly note cards into the mail to instantly brighten a friend’s day!
Included within the “Butterfly Designs” download in the template library is a file titled “Butterfly Cards”. This SVG includes two butterfly designs that have an additional card base (as shown above). Simply cut out the design and use a craft knife and ruler to score and fold.
Lastly, attach the layered butterfly to the folded card base to create your completed butterfly note card.
How to Make a Butterfly Banner with your Cricut
To make this banner, cut a piece of bristol board (or poster board) to be 9 in by 22 in. I roughly coated the bristol board in acrylic paint to create a shiny surface. Once dried, arrange and adhere your butterflies to the bristol board.
Use a thin sheet of balsa wood to create the simple frame for your banner. Balsa wood can be easily cut with a metal ruler and craft knife, you simply need to go over where you want to cut a few times with your knife.
Cut out four 3/4 in by 9.5 in pieces.
To one of the cut wooden pieces, tie a piece of string or ribbon to either end. Then sandwich the butterfly art between this piece (placed behind the art) and another wooden piece (placed in front of the art). Use glue to adhere. Add the two other wooden pieces to the bottom of your butterfly art.
Using a mixture of metallic, matte, and textured cardstocks make these Cricut cut butterflies shine!
