Video Tutorial – Design Space and Assembly Instructions:

Step-by-Step Guide:

Step 1: Prepare Your Cardstock:

Choose one heavy-weight cardstock or poster board. The SVG design is laid out so that you can do it all in one cut on a 12×24-inch cutting mat. If you don’t have the Cricut 12×24-inch cutting mat, simply right-click and select “ungroup” in Design Space – this will allow the design to be divided amongst multiple cuts when you click “make it”.

Step 2: Attaching Floral Wire to Your Leaves

Secure the floral wire to each leaf using a jewelry pliers tool kit and floral tape. See the video tutorial above for specific technique instructions.

Step 3: Assemble the Wreath Base:

Gather three pieces of the floral wire in your hands. Twist to secure them together. Then create a loop at either end. This will allow you to easily display your wreath once it’s complete.

Step 4: Attach the Leaves:

Position the leaves along the wreath base as you desire. Next, twist the wire ends of the leaves onto the wreath base to secure.

While attaching the leaves to the wreath base, use layering to create a lush and full look. Overlap the leaves slightly to ensure the wreath looks cohesive and their are no holes.

Step 5: Wrapping the wreath with floral tape:

Beginning at one end of the wreath base, just below the loop created in Step 4, wrap the floral tape around the base. As you go along the base, wrap around each leaf stem you come to. This helps further secure everything together as well as protect from getting poked by wire when handling the wreath.

Step 6: Paint Your Wreath:

Layout your wreath on a protected surface in a well ventilated area – I did this on my porch. Give the werath a good coat of spray paint. Then allow to dry fully.

Step 7: Add Ribbon:

Attach your ribbon onto either end of the wreath to the loops. Feel free to add a bow to embellish it a bit. Then hang and enjoy!

Creating your own Fall Cricut decor is a delightful way to infuse your home with the beauty of the season.

The combination of cardstock leaves, gold accents, and a touch of ribbon results in a wreath that’s both elegant and inviting. Place it on your front door, above your fireplace, or anywhere you want to add a touch of fall magic.
