Once you’ve finished cutting all the elements with your Cricut, it’s time to assemble your charming love bug card!
Prepare the Antennae
Cut two small pieces of jewelry wire. Attach a small heart to each end of the wire, creating the love bug’s antennae.
Repeat this process for the second wire.
Attach the Antennae
Secure the ends of the wires to the card base where the head will be placed.
Then, adhere the love bug’s head over the wire ends, concealing and reinforcing them. Make sure the antennae are positioned upright and balanced.
Create the Wings
Layer the polka-dot wings over the solid wings, adhering them together using double-sided tape.
Assemble the Wings
Attach the completed wings to the card base using a paper fastener (brad). This not only secures the wings but also allows them to move, adding a fun, interactive element to your love bug card.
