Glide into the holiday season with this latest freebie: the Ice Skates Gift Tag SVG!
With the fast approaching winter, comes the opportunity for ice skating! From my childhood, when my parents moved our family to a rural property, one cherished pastime dominated our winter days: the backyard rink. After a warm spell, then followed by another drop in temperature that transformed the wooded area into a charming ice rink nestled among the trees. Outdoor lights strung across made it feel magical and provided the perfect setting for enjoying fresh air and exercise. These charming tags made with my Cricut machine remind me of the countless fun winter brings.

Upon downloading and importing the design into Design Space, proceed to cut out the design. I opted for diverse materials to introduce additional texture, and I’ll detail the material I used for each layer below.
Affix the base layer of the skates onto the white tag using metallic silver vinyl. Then layer the heels of the skates on top, I chose a metallic black vinyl for this step.
Glue down the skate tongues. I opted for a pink glitter.
Prior to adhering the boot of the skate, use some gold cord to stitch it through the holes. Then attach the boots (cut from cardstock) using double-sided foam tape. Complete the tag by tying the gold cord into a small bow.
