The Best Free Ampersand Fonts in Cricut Design Space for Cards & Crafts
I have a special place in my heart for ampersands! As a graphic designer, I love seeing the creative ways type designers turn this little character into a beautiful piece of typography. Some ampersands are simple and elegant, while others are filled with swashes, flourishes, and unexpected details.
When it comes to Cricut crafting, a beautiful ampersand can be a showstopping way to bring two names, words, or ideas together. They’re especially lovely for wedding and anniversary projects, but there’s so much more you can do with them!
In this post, I’ve rounded up some of the prettiest free ampersand fonts you can find in Cricut Design Space—no paid Cricut Access subscription required—as well as a list of wording ideas to inspire your next project.
Whether you’re making wedding stationery, a handmade card, home décor, a scrapbook page, or something completely different, I hope these ampersands give you a few new ideas for putting this often-overlooked character to work!

You can also use the search bar to search for a particular font by name.
A quick way to tell if a font is free
When you’re browsing fonts, fonts that you own or can use for free will not have a price displayed underneath them. Fonts included with Cricut Access are marked with the Cricut Access icon.
Tip: If you’re following along with this post, I’d recommend typing an ampersand (&) into the text box as you browse. It’s much easier to compare fonts when you’re looking at the actual character you want to use!
