Discover fun and creative Cricut Easter ideas for kids to enjoy crafting and decorating this holiday season!
When my daughter was born, she surprisingly slept quite well for a newborn! I remember feeling like my maternity leave was a bit of a break. They say to sleep when the baby sleeps, but I found myself refreshed by crafting.
Now that she’s a busy toddler, I’ve had to get inventive and adjust. Most of my crafting time is now spent with her. She now eagerly waits to press the flashing button on my Cricut machine to signal the next step (after I’ve set up the mat or tool). Once the project is cut, I quickly remove it from the mat (for safekeeping!) and hand it over to her to clear away the leftover pieces. I let her use those remnants for coloring and crafting.
Although I know she is more than happy along for the ride making whatever craft I’m invested in, I find it also special to make some projects that are for her to enjoy the finished project.
Below are three Cricut Easter ideas you can create with your kids or grandkids. They can also be crafted by yourself and added to their Easter basket as a fun gift or activity.

Getting your free designs from the Gilded Stork Design Files Library
To begin, head over to the Gilded Stork Design Files library here and download the designs. Once you have them, upload the designs to your Cricut Design Space.
Getting the design directly in Cricut Design Space
If you’re a Cricut Access subscriber, you can bypass the above and directly add them to your canvas in Cricut Design Space. Under each project below I will share a direct link to the projects in Cricut Design Space.
1. Easter Coloring Shapes
These adorable bunnies and eggs offer a fresh twist on a coloring page. You can make them in minutes using your Cricut machine, a Cricut fineline pen, and some white cardstock. They would look charming when colored by your little ones and strung together to create a garland. Alternatively, stack them, top with a small box of crayons, and tie them together with a ribbon to enhance an Easter basket.
*Design Space Instructions: If downloading from the Gilded Stork Library, once you have uploaded the design and added it to your canvas, change the top elements (in black) to pen lines under the dropdown “Operations”, then attach to the base (attach can be found at the bottom of the layers panel) before cutting.

2. Easter Tags
The simple shapes of these Easter tags make it easy for kids to match the decorative top cardstock layer to the back layer. Use a bit of glue to stick them together. These tags would also make a delightful garland. Can you tell I’m a fan of Spring garlands?

3. Easter Sticker Sheet
This set of simple Spring shapes is perfect for cutting from vinyl to create an Easter sticker sheet. Opt for removable vinyl if you’re concerned about where these stickers might end up when handled by your kids (I used gold removable which you can purchase from Cricut here).
