I’ve been exploring how I can use my Cricut more within card making and memory keeping, and Cricut pens are something I’ve definitely underutilized. I designed this collection of delicate single-line bow designs for myself to embellish envelopes, decorate scrapbook pages, and create beautiful recipe cards—and I’m sharing them with you today.

How to Use These SVGs with Cricut Pens

Download the free SVG bundle from the Gilded Stork Design Files Library.

Upload your chosen SVG into Cricut Design Space.

Select all of the pen line elements and click Attach.

Change the Operation from Basic Cut to Pen.

Choose and install your favourite Cricut Pen.

Draw onto cardstock, recipe cards, scrapbook paper, or envelopes.
My Favourite Ways to Use This Collection
Create Heirloom Recipe Cards
This scalloped recipe card is perfect for writing your favourite recipes to gift to friends or pass down for future generations.
To create it in Cricut Design Space:

Upload the recipe card line art.

Select all of the line elements and click Attach.

Change the Operation to Pen.

Upload the scalloped card shape and leave it as Basic Cut.

Centre the pen design inside the scalloped shape.

Select both layers and click Attach before drawing and cutting.
Frame Scrapbook Memories
The two decorative bow frames add a delicate finishing touch to your favourite photos and scrapbook layouts.
To create the frame:

Upload the bow corner line art.

Attach the pen line elements together.
-
Change the Operation to Pen.

Upload the decorative frame and keep it as Basic Cut.

Position the frame inside the bow corners.

Attach everything together before drawing and cutting.
Decorate Handmade Cards & Envelopes
Use the individual bows to embellish birthday cards, Christmas cards, bridal shower invitations, thank-you cards, and happy mail.
I especially love adding them to the outside of handmade envelopes using Gilded Stork’s Signature Envelope Collection. It’s such a simple detail, but it makes an envelope feel extra special before it’s even opened.
Just remember to Attach the pen line art before sending it to your Cricut to draw.
